The modern world today has placed an increasing amount of pressure on every aspect of our relationships with others, especially family and partners.
With stress, financial pressures, time and an ever changing world view of the way families and relationships are respected. The reality of having a happy, productive and emotionally supporting family and husband or wife is fast becoming a thing of the past. More and more people are choosing to avoid resolving family and relationship related issues by focusing purely on their chosen pursuits i.e. work, sport, religion or beliefs, pastimes etc.
This fundamental shift in the value we place upon long-term relationships has affected the very society we live in. It has become such a normal way of thinking it easily goes un-noticed until we hit the emotional wall of a relationship breakdown.
This workshop has been created to help everyone to learn all the many subtle influences that occur over time that change how we see and how we feel when we are in a relationship, as well as all the many issues from our family life that have shaped how we participate in our relationships with others and our own family.
We will also work on creating an understanding of how these experiences are passed on from generation to generation. How we all have created the society that we now live in and how we feel unable to change the life we are now living.
If you feel that you would like to change the way your relationships are going and to heal any rift between yourself and any member of your family then this workshop is for you.
The healing of any relationship takes understanding and understanding takes time and exploration. We truly cannot heal anything until we understand what has created it. In having this understanding we can find the way forward and a path that can resolve everything that holds us back from becoming a part of something greater than ourselves.
To create this understanding we will explore:
• Learning how we sabotage ourselves
• Exploring our perceptions of relationships
• Exploring what has created our perceptions of relationships
• How to face our fear of commitment
• The truth of emotional commitment
• How to understand our relationships
• How to understand the long term affects of choice
• To know what we need from our relationships and why
• Positive and negative expectations
• How we all create the society we live in
• How to balance our personal journey with our relationships
• How to share our healing journey with those we love
• How to find the courage to become a part of love, life and family
We will cover all of these topics as well as any others that come up within the workshop. We will also learn how to start the journey of healing our relationships with others without having to compromise our truth and ourselves.
